“Ethics and the Evolving Definition of Right”

Jonathan Kraftchick, Cherry Bekaert

The world is changing quickly, and with that, comes people with varied views and values. We tend to be influenced by one group while ignoring the views of others. Ethics is not just about right or wrong, or not doing “bad” things. It's about pausing and paying attention to what's going on around you and becoming more aware. In this course, we'll discuss the various definitions of "right" and how common biases can make the gray areas that much more gray.

This course assists CPAs to meet the requirement of 8G.0410 Professional Ethics and Conduct CPE. As part of the annual CPE requirement, all active CPAs shall complete CPE on professional ethics and conduct as set out in 21 NCAC 8G.
